HUMAN RESOURCE

SAF is following international procedures for Human Resource Management. We do staff projection, recruitment and HR planning based on our ongoing projects and the upcoming projects in SAF. We do believe in professionals’ contribution in projects management and our recruitment policy allows to recruit potential candidates in more transparent and accountable ways. SAF has a system for staff development and we conduct on the job training and we support staff through mentoring, coaching and exchange visits from similar projects in Afghanistan and in other countries. We do follow national level norms for staff compensation for the defined categories of staff working for SAF.

 

At present, SAF has 2395 staff including 122 management staff, 948 clinical staff and 1345 community health workers (CHWs). Through capacity building approaches of SAF, most of technical and managerial staff, have acquired the necessary professional skills in the fields of public health, basic management, hospital management, nutrition, health management, reproductive health, child health, HMIS, mental health, pharmacy, supply chain management, M&E, laboratory, gender, logistics, administration, human resource development, accounting and finance.
